Clerks Guide To The Galaxy – A #StayAtHome 48 Hour Mashup Trailer

We spent the weekend toiling as and keeping our minds busy with the worldwide 48Hour film competition (April 3-5, 2020)

We had to choose a movie from Column A and a movie from Column B and long story short, we went with Clerks and Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy.

Aside from so many worldly things trying to keep Eric from doing this not limited to Rogers shutting his internet off prematurely due to a switching of gear…he stepped up and provided some demented live action/green screen footage.

Lisa Kennedy (Trillian Brie), Paul French (Jayphod Bobblebrox) and Patrick Williamson (Dante/Marvin) all helped provide needed voices.

So thanks for all the fish, and hopefully you get a kick out of this silly little mish mash during these less than cheerful times.

Tone Death – a 48 Hour Film Musical

In October 416film participated in the 10th annual Toronto 48 Hour film contest and after doing so many of these we finally landed the dreaded “Musical” genre.

Did we allow that to stop us? No!

Did we think about allowing it to stop us?

A little bit.

But with our motley crew of regulars including Patrick Williamson, Neil Bennett, Pamela Tophen and Paul French we added some completely new blood to the mix with Michael Obadia, Lisa Kennedy and Ibrahim Mohamed who all went above and beyond for this outing.

The film screened on Nov. 16 at the Revue theatre and played so much better than we could have expected.
So thanks to all who came out and thanks to those who worked so hard on this weird little film.
